1. Definitions
In these terms and conditions the following definitions apply:
"the Company" means Synthesis Management Consultants.
"Site" means the Synthesis Management Consultants website which is located at www.synthesismc.co.uk
"User" and "You" means all individuals and/ or entities accessing and using the Site for any reason.
"Service/ Services" any information and services provided by Synthesis Management Consultants through or via the Site.

2.1.6 to post information on behalf of another individual, or delete or revise any material posted by any other person or entity, or impersonate anyone else or otherwise misrepresent a User's identity or status.
2.2 Users must not violate or attempt to violate the security of the Site or any other related computer system, and must not: access data not intended for such User or log into a server or account which such User is not authorised to view; make excessive traffic demands; deliver viruses or forward chain letters, surveys, contests, pyramid schemes or otherwise engage in any other behaviour that may reasonably be expected to inhibit other Users from using and enjoying the Site or any other web site or damage or destroy the reputation of the Company or any third party.
3. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
3.1 The Company does not, and nothing in these terms and conditions shall act to exclude or limit the Company's liability for death or personal injury resulting from its negligence, fraud or any other liability which may not by applicable law be excluded or limited.
3.2 Subject to clause 3.1, in no event shall the Company be liable (whether for breach of contract, negligence or for any other reason) for: any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, losses or expenses, nor for loss of salary, loss of profits, exemplary or special damages, loss of sales, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, loss of any software or data, loss of bargain, loss of opportunity, loss of use of computer equipment, software or data, loss of or waste of management or other staff time, arising in connection with this Site, any information received from the Site, any email distributed to any User or any linked web site or use thereof or inability to use by any party, or in connection with any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus or line or system failure, even if Synthesis Management Consultants, or representatives thereof, are advised of the possibility of such damages, losses or expenses.
3.3 You agree that your use of the Site and the Service(s) is on an "as is" and "as available" basis and that your use of the Site and the Service(s) is at your sole risk. On that basis, except as expressly set out in these terms, the Company does not provide nor enter into any conditions, warranties or other terms in relation to the Site or the Service(s).
3.4 Whilst every effort is made to ensure that all information on the Site is correct, Synthesis Management Consultants cannot and does not confirm that information posted on the Site is correct. Due to the nature of the internet it is impossible to verify that each individual is who they say they are. Because of this, Synthesis Management Consultants cannot be involved in disputes or dealings between Users. Users of the Site are to exercise common sense and caution when using the Site.
3.5 The Company does not guarantee that the Site will operate error-free or that the Site and its server are free of computer viruses or other harmful mechanisms. Each individual User is responsible for ensuring that your PC/ laptop/ hardware is protected against any such viruses and the Company accepts no liability for the repair of any of your equipment caused by you choosing to use the Site.
4. Indemnity.
Subject to clause 3.1 and to the extent that it is permissible by law, You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company, its officers, employees and agents, from and against any claims, actions or demands, including without limitation reasonable legal and accounting fees, alleging or resulting from your breach of the terms of these terms and conditions.
5. Submissions
5.1 All information submitted to the Company via this Site shall be deemed and remain the property of the Company and the Company shall be free to use, for any purpose, any idea, concepts, know-how or techniques contained in information a visitor to this Site provides the Company through this Site as set out in the Privacy Policy of the Company. Nothing contained herein shall be construed as limiting or reducing the Company's responsibilities and obligations to clients in accordance with the Company Privacy Policy.
5.2 The User acknowledges that the Company may require to alter the wording, format, and/ or appearance of written materials submitted to the Site and grants to the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide perpetual licence under the User's copyright and other intellectual property rights for the Company to copy, amend, alter, reproduce the material submitted at the Company's absolute discretion as reasonably necessary to provide the Services.

6.1 All intellectual property rights in any material (including text, photographs and other images and music/sound, trade marks, software and logos) contained in this Site are either owned by the Company or have been licensed to the Company by the rights owner(s) so that the Company can use this material as part of its Site and are protected by UK and international copyright laws.
